What Clients Say

My aims before the coaching started were to manage stress better and be more productive — I had recently become a student mentor and my schedule had gotten busier. The goals in our coaching agreement were to improve my social life, study productivity, and stress management, and to become more active.

Over the course of our sessions, what changed wasn't the goals themselves but how I ranked them. Early on, I cared most about my social life and becoming more active; by the end, I was more focused on stress and studying. I realised that many of the "problems" I was dealing with depended heavily on how I chose to perceive and respond to them. I'm now working on reacting less, taking a step back, and trusting that I'll find a way through — even if it takes time.

The mindfulness exercises were especially helpful in showing me that genuine productivity requires rest — not just more effort. The session where we talked through how I perceive social interactions was valuable, too: I learned to tune into my emotional and physical states before reacting, and to ask myself how I actually want to feel in those situations, so I can respond more intentionally next time.

Going into the coaching, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect — I thought it might be something like being guided to solutions. What I actually found was a space to learn practical tools (including the SFI model and mindfulness practice), and to think carefully about my goals, priorities, and whether my expectations are realistic. I also noticed that Lexi's calm, patient, and respectful presence made me feel more relaxed in our sessions — and it reminded me that this is something I want to bring more of into my own life.

If I had to rate the experience, I'd give it a 9. It helped me clarify goals I already had, discover new motivation, and see that sustainable change happens through small, deliberate steps — with the aim of being, overall, happier with life.
